MKAN LAUNCHES "STOP THE CRIME" CAMPAIGN
The menace of crimes among Nigerian Youth has been a source of concerns to members of the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN) for a long time. More worrisome to the leadership of MKAN is the rate of involvement of children and young adults which seems to be growing day-by-day! For these and many other reasons, the members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria are set to commence a series of advocacy programmes targeting at the secondary school children in Nigeria.
A major feature of these sensitization programmes is the release of a documentary video on Nigerians who are prisoners in some of the Ghana Prisons. The documentary will show interviews conducted for these people who have been convicted for various offences and are now serving various jail terms in Ghana prison yards. These inmates will briefly share their experiences and advice the teeming Nigerian Youth on the need to shun all manners of crimes.
The National President (or Sadr) of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Nigeria (MKAN), Bro. Abdul-Qadir Abdul-Rafi, while speaking more at the Project Management Committee (PMC) meeting of the Ahmadi Youth All African Games (AYAAG) stated that the "Stop the Crimes” Campaign will InshaAllah be launched in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, in February 2016. The campaign has been incorporated into the Peace Games, a component of the Ahmadi Youth All African Games (AYAAG) 2016. "A series of visits to media houses, government agencies and a host of other stakeholders have been designed for the projects launch," confirmed by the Sadr MKAN. The Sadr further informed the gathering that the "STOP THE CRIME" Campaign is an initiative of one Mr. Ibrahim, a Ghanaian Journalist, who is an Ambassador at large for the Ghana Prisons. The MKAN has agreed to partner with the initiator of the project in order to achieve its anticipated positive results.
May Allah bless the project, Ameen.

Muavin Sadr II, MKAN
